Vintage Lego Box Screenprint Studies

Screen print flower studies, hand-painted on top, done straight onto found vintage Lego boxes.

Every box was found at markets not bought to order, some are from the US, late seventies and eighties, the graphics already faded from forty years sitting in someone's attic or a flea market crate. That's the background each flower gets printed onto.

Screen printed first, then painted in by hand. No two the same. Studies, not editions, one-offs by definition.

Varnished with UV protection once finished, so the colour holds up better than the box underneath it ever did.

Sizes vary by box, roughly A3 up to 500 x 300mm.
